
René Fallet

Né le 4 décembre 1927, René Fallet publie son premier roman à dix-neuf ans et ne quittera jamais le territoire qu'il s'est choisi : les bistrots, les copains, la campagne menacée par le progrès, les amours un peu ratées. Romancier populaire au sens le plus noble du terme, journaliste et scénariste, il reçoit le Prix Rabelais pour La Soupe aux choux en 1980. Il meurt le 25 juillet 1983.
