Along with Un idiot à Paris and Charleston, also printed in 15 copies, this is one of the smallest deluxe issues in René Fallet’s œuvre. The novel was adapted for the screen in 1964, starring Jean-Louis Trintignant and Michèle Morgan. Fallet himself played a small role in the film — that of the innkeeper, naturally.
