Original drawing, signed and dated, with the autograph inscription “Pour Lorenzo.” It was executed on the verso of the half-title page of the album Sempé à New York, which brings together some of the excellent drawings Sempé made for the New Yorker. Sempé, an avid cyclist, rode the streets of the city on his yellow Motobécane Super-Touring bicycle, carrying his drawings through the streets of Manhattan.
