Enlargement of the famous photograph of the two poets, in suits, near the rue de France, from one of their first meetings. This print was given by René Char, inscribed “Pour Raymond Jean”, and captioned by him “Paul Éluard et RC / Nice 1930.”
A fine photograph, in a later print, enlarged and given to Raymond Jean, one of René Char’s regular and last visitors at Les Busclats. After the poet’s death, Jean published a sensitive book steeped in memories, Un trajet en poésie (La Renaissance du livre, 2001).
