Olivier Thiébaut, born September 21, 1963 in Cherbourg, is a French writer and illustrator.
After training as a bookbinder and studying, between 1985 and 1987, at the École Régionale des Beaux-Arts de Caen, where he earned a degree in film studies, he went on to design posters and sets for theater and film, and worked as a screenwriter for television. He began publishing in 1993, and released his twentieth book in 2019.
