Paris, November 1952 – June 1953.
8 leaves (430 x 280 mm), printed recto only, in black on colored paper.
Complete set of the first series of this review, edited by Jean Schuster, printed on various colored papers (green, red, cream, white, ochre, wine-red and orange). Texts by Breton, Alleau, Duprey, Legrand, Meret, Oppenheim, etc.
Before becoming a fully-fledged review, this publication appeared in the form of single-sided sheets, closer in appearance to a newsletter. It was primarily intended to serve as an “information bulletin” within the group. The drawn title recalls the geometric sense of medium: a module of architecture. Edited by Jean Schuster, the publication brought together, around André Breton, both recently converted Surrealists and older fellow travelers, such as Péret.
A fine copy of this extremely fragile series, rarely found complete.
