This edition brings together six fine letters addressed to Mademoiselle Lucie-Marie Decour in 1927, in which the author describes the heroic early days of the Casablanca–Dakar air route, the risks and passion of his profession, his life during African stopovers, his work as airfield chief at Cap Juby, and his memories of Granada, Alicante and Málaga.
It was published on the sixth anniversary of the author’s death, in an edition limited to only 51 numbered copies.
