This two-volume story, published between 2001 and 2002, marks an important stage in the series created by Jean Van Hamme and drawn by Philippe Francq. The plot, which takes Largo Winch from the Philippines to San Francisco, showcases the themes central to the saga: financial confrontations, betrayal and corruption, all set within a globalized world. The conclusion on the Golden Gate Bridge has become one of the series’ iconic sequences.
