First edition. Printed in 110 copies, this one of 100 on vergé d'Arches, justified “HC” by the author.

Signed presentation inscription: “à Edmond Desjobert, en le remerciant pour les soins apportés à ce petit livre. Bien amicalement, Georges Hugnet 1942.”

This work is published as a lithographic facsimile of the author’s calligraphic manuscript, illustrated with 14 original compositions by Christine Boumeester and Henri Goetz, this being the latter’s first illustrated book.

Georges Hugnet’s cover collage differs from copy to copy.

A very fine copy, subtly bound by Monique Mathieu.
