This collection contains 41 songs, with musical notation. Pia suggests that the author was probably Gustave Nadaud, and rightly so, as indicated by the signed note on the half-title: “the first fifteen volumes of this edition are for my cousin Nadaud and are the only ones bearing the author’s signature. Anonymous. Gustave Nadaud.”
A striking mosaic binding in pigskin.
