At just 19, Bryant was making his All-Star debut and became the youngest player ever to start an NBA All-Star Game. He led the Western Conference with 18 points. Jordan scored 23 points, with 6 rebounds and 8 assists, leading the Eastern Conference to a 135–114 victory and earning his third All-Star Game MVP award.
