Alain-Fournier
Né le 3 octobre 1886 à La Chapelle-d'Angillon dans le Cher, Henri-Alban Fournier publie en 1913, sous le pseudonyme d'Alain-Fournier, Le Grand Meaulnes, roman unique d'une adolescence hantée par un domaine perdu et un visage entrevu, présenté au Goncourt sans l'obtenir. Mobilisé en août 1914, il est tué le 22 septembre sur le front de la Meuse, à vingt-sept ans, laissant inachevé un second roman.
