Henri Bosco’s third published book, issued by Les Terrasses de Lourmarin, like the two preceding titles (Les Poètes, 1925, and Églogues de la mer, 1928).
These early works are poetic, light and colorful, sketching charming portraits of Provence. This one was published shortly after the accidental death of Robert Laurent-Vibert, Bosco’s patron and friend, who had transformed and restored the château de Lourmarin.
Noëls et chansons de Lourmarin includes a musical piece by Bosco, the only one he ever produced.
