The text was revised for the subsequent book publication, issued by Émile-Paul in May 1919. This pre-original edition is the only version Toulet actually knew. He died on 6 September 1919 in Guéthary, before the book itself was printed, and it was not distributed until January 1920.
A very fine copy, in remarkable condition.
