Copy printed on blue paper. Very rare first edition of this collection of 12 short stories, the last title published by the author. A Venetian lawyer, Tommaso Grapputo (1772–1834) was best known, between 1809 and 1811, as one of the most fervent Italian panegyrists of Napoleon.
