La Boîte à pêche is the only book by Genevoix illustrated by André Collot. The volume belongs to the “La Belle Édition” collection, revived in 1989 by Éditions d’Art Henri Piazza, which specialized in fine illustrated editions of the great classics: Jean Giono, Marcel Aymé, Jules Renard, Anatole France, as well as La Fontaine and Stendhal.
