Tony Parker's official replica Spurs jersey, from the “NBA 2007” finals, which he won with his teammates: this was his third NBA title. At only twenty-five, Parker became the youngest European player to achieve this record. This was unquestionably the high point of his career.
In that final, Tony Parker also received one of the NBA's highest honors: the Finals MVP (“Most Valuable Player”) trophy, awarded to the best player of the competition. This was the first time a European player had received this title, and he remains the only French player ever to have done so. Since the award's creation in 1969, the only other international players to have won it are Dirk Nowitzki (Germany), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece) and Nikola Jokić (Serbia).

Tony Parker retired from professional basketball in June 2019. In tribute, and in recognition of the achievements accumulated over his seventeen years (2001 to 2018) with the club, the Spurs permanently retired the number 9 jersey for the San Antonio teams, raising it to the rafters of the team’s NBA arena.
By his statistics and record, Tony Parker is considered the greatest French basketball player of all time.
