Paris, Bernard Grasset, (November 30) 1965.
2 vols. (115 x 185 mm) of 301 p. In wrappers, with illustrated cover and slipcases.
Reprints of Raboliot used by Maurice Genevoix as working copies while preparing the edition of his Œuvres complètes: autograph corrections in pen, of a typographical or stylistic nature, along with this manuscript note: “Œuvres complètes. Exemplaire revu. Bon pour composer. Maurice Genevoix.”

As was his habit in his working copies, Genevoix highlighted the title on the cover in ballpoint pen.

These volumes offer an interesting record of Genevoix’s process of revision and transmission of his own text, showing the care he took over it even decades after its first publication. As his Œuvres complètes approached publication, each volume was reexamined, and Raboliot was no exception.

The Œuvres were published in 1970, in 21 volumes (including an index) by Éditions Diderot, with color illustrations by various artists.

From the library of Maurice Genevoix at “Les Vernelles,” with his bookplate in each volume.
